Needed a sound for a clay pot being dug out of sand. I used rice and a small ceramic pot for this.

Various momevents with my hand using small rocks and dirt. Brushing, grabbing, and dropping. Recording in the city is hard but i found a small canyon made of rocks in a park which helped block out traffic noise. Equipment: rode ntg3, zoom h5, izoptope rx4. A recording of a thunderstorm using my zoom h4n from my front porch. The clip starts toward the tail end of the storm, and the thunder and rain slows down throughout. Starting in the middle and towards the end of the clip, there's even some birds and forest frogs in the background. A few cars drove past, and they can be heard as well.
